Named" Far Fetched Imports" we are exactly that, and have been in the same location for more than 11 years. We travel and buy in Nepal and surrounding areas always searching for the best quality we can find . From the beauty of our gemstones to the craftsmanship of our art and artifacts we search for the best and most beautiful. When you enter our small shop you will be treated in a friendly manner and we are ready to tell you the story or meaning behind all that we offer. We try to keep prices reasonable, and are not opposed to a little "bargaining" since we have to do that on almost everything over there. Far Fetched is a family run business, with old style charm. Many of our items are not available in quantity, so I cannot offer the typical on-line shopping experience where you can click and buy. It is much more fun to come in and browse around, ask about anything you want and enjoy the good vibes that we are often told we have. For folks out of our area, we can be reached by e-mail or phone to answer your questions, and can take credit card orders over the phone and ship merchandise within the United States.
We do not have typical hours, but are open every day but Monday from 1:30 to 6 on Sun., Tues. & Wed. and from 1:30 till at least 10 pm on Thurs., Fri., & Sat. If we are busy, we stay later.
